Today was the day I decided to take the step, to take that big step into time when everything is going to change.
Everything was about to change and my life would become something else.
A change I hoped for the better, a change that makes me happy.
I feel the butterflies in my stomach tie eager around, a feeling I had every day and every time I saw you.

Im taking the step that brings me closer to you and suddenly i´m standing there, right there beside you and the butterflies flutter even more this time.
You are looking at me I can feel how everything is changing.
I can feel my face burning up and how all the blood is running up to my cheeks.
I was blushing but I was going to do this, I was.
I took the note I had written about 100 times before I thought that it was perfect for you.
I reach out and give you the note, you stare at me with a warm and gentle look, and I disappeared.

Today is the day when I did it, I really did it. I can feel how the tears running down my cheek, not because i was afraid of what you think of me, I was proud, i was strong.
I can feel the wind blowing and hit me in the face and my hair blow back and i was happy.
I see a swing and start swinging and look up into the sky, smiling.
I saw all the birds flying in the sky and i felt just the same, i feel free, free like a bird.

I had taken the step that changed my life to the better, because there you where standing right beside me. Your eyes where sparkling against the bright sunlight and you were beautiful.
In your hands you had the note I written to you and you reach out to give me it back.
My hands was shaking and I opened the note and I see the words I always wanted to hear you say.
